How do I get FreshKote?

Why is FreshKote prescription only?
The concentration of ingredients in FreshKote are significantly stronger than what is available in many over the counter (OTC) products. Also, because of the patented polymer blending, the unique patented lipid component, and the patented preservative; patients should use FreshKote under doctor supervision.
FreshKote indication?
FreshKote sterile ophthalmic solution is a lubricant indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe dry eye.
FreshKote dosage?
Instill 1 or 2 drop(s) in the affected eye(s) 3 or 4 times daily.
How soon should I see improvement?
While every eye is different, you should see and feel significant improvement within 2 weeks. Possibly as soon as 2 or 3 days.
What is in FreshKote?
Each mL of FreshKote® Ophthalmic Solution contains: Polyvinyl pyrrolidone 2.0%, Polyvinyl alcohol (87% hydrolyzed) 0.9%, Polyvinyl alcohol (99% hydrolyzed) 1.8%. Also contains Amisol® CLEAR. Other ingredients: Sodium chloride, Potassium chloride, Boric acid, Purified water and as preservatives Disodium edetate dihydrate, Polixetonium.

How does one get Dry Eye?
The number of people who have the affliction has been steadily increasing over the past 30 – 40 years. Dry eye is most common in women over 40, but they also occur in men and in younger people, particularly when their eyes are often used where staring is required. Increased air pollution, air-conditioning, central heating contribute to tear film instability and lead to further surface cell damage.
What side effects can I expect from using FreshKote?
Some people experience a slight burning sensation when first using FreshKote. Generally the burning goes away very quickly.
